Links/Quarry
Set along the shoreline, Links/Quarry highlights the magnificence of Lake Michigan and the spectacular northern Michigan landscape. At the same time, the ruggedness of an existing former shale quarry with views of Lake Michigan was preserved to provide a finish in dramatic style.
It's understandable that Pure Michigan selected Links #7 as one of Michigan’s most distinctive 18 holes. While it is a blind shot from the tee, the fairway is wide and welcoming, and the green offers spectacular views in every direction, including the 130-mile view across Lake Michigan to Wisconsin!
The Pebble Beach of the Midwest
Accented by towering bluffs and windblown dunes, The Links 9 highlights Arthur Hills’ design at its finest, combining the course's unique topography with the native environment to achieve golf's greatest promise as both a sport — and a lifestyle.
The Quarry epitomizes Arthur Hills' unique ability to leverage existing terrain in the creation of something both distinctive and truly spectacular. Located in and around the remains of a massive shale quarry, this one-of-a-kind course claims some of the golfing world's most dramatic features, from 40-foot gorges and stone cliffs to natural ponds and a gentle waterfall.
But beyond the scenery, Links/Quarry is golf at its finest — rewarding well-planned tee shots and approaches that hit their spots.

Links/Quarry
Links 1
A generous landing area off the tee quickly turns to disaster if you get a little too far left. A bunker on the right can be challenged from the tee, and there is room to play from down the right side, but nothing beats the comfort of the fairway when playing your approach into this tricky green.
